As most of you know, Shelby broke her water bright and early at 2:30am on Tuesday February 3rd. Just two days before my scheduled C-Section, I guess she was ready to get out! Sadie Jo was born at 6:21am, weighing in at 5.6lbs and 19 inches long. Shelby Elizabeth was born at 6:23am, weighing in at 5.5lbs and also 19 inches long. After spending a few hours in the NICU for observation they were brought to our room and welcomed to the world by Mommy, Daddy, and lots of grandparents and friends. Over the next 6 days we got to know them and love them for their distinct differences. Sadie had Jaundice and we all stayed an extra few days for her to get better on a special "Billi Bed". Thank you to all of our friends and family for coming to visit us and the girls, we really enjoyed having each and every one of you be a part of such an amazing experience!
